Do you have to make a reservation?

YES, if you’re camping or planning on staying in one of our cabins, you MUST make a reservation. Just fill out the form HERE.

How do I know where
to go?

We are happy to offer everyone a complimentary virtual map from Cartotracks that works without cellular service. Click here for download instructions. If digital isn't your thing, you can purchase a souvenir paper copy from the office but it may not have all the current trails.

Does the ranch close for inclement weather?

Almost never.  The ranch has closed for half a day over the last 21 years because of inclement weather.  It rained for nearly a week straight and the creeks were not passable.  The ranch sheds water very fast and normally is not a reason to close.

Is the ranch always open?

NO, we are seasonal, with our season starting on the first full weekend of March through the last weekend of November.
PLEASE check our calendar to view our scheduled events and open weekends throughout the year.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?

We DO NOT accept credit or debit cards. Cash or check only, please. There is an ATM located in the office and is available during normal office hours.

Can we bring a 4-wheeler or dirt bike?

No dirt bikes or four wheelers permitted anywhere on the grounds at SMORR. Full size rigs and side-by-sides are welcome. General rule of thumb is it must have a cage or a roof.

Can you put a tent on an electric RV site

Yes.  You are allowed to put up to (2) tents OR (1) RV in an electric or full hookup RV site
